The Nail Cross Nantucket Hoodie

The Nail Cross is formed from the three nails of the crucifixion. Tradition holds one for each hand and one for His feet. They were driven in to end a life. Instead they became the mark of a debt paid in full.

That is why this symbol needs no slogan. The nails are the message: what it cost, who paid it, and that it is finished.

"By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross." Colossians 2:14

We put it on a patch instead of a print on purpose. It is small and quiet, the kind of detail people notice up close and ask about.

This is not a standard sweatshirt with a logo on it. Every part of it was chosen for how it feels on day one and how it holds up in year three.

• Nantucket fleece. A plush, textured knit with a depth and softness flat fleece does not have. You feel the difference the moment you pick it up.
• Mid-weight, 8.25 oz (280 GSM). Warm without the bulk. It layers under a jacket and wears comfortably from fall through spring.
• 52% cotton / 48% polyester. Cotton for softness and breathability, polyester so it keeps its shape and color wash after wash.
• Three-panel hood, fleece lined. Shaped to sit properly on your head and shoulders instead of collapsing flat.
• Side-seamed body. Cut and sewn in panels for a cleaner, more tailored fit than a tube-knit hoodie.
• Double-needle topstitching on every seam. Two rows of stitching where most hoodies have one.
• Finishing details. Canvas neck tape, ribbed cuffs and waistband, a flat textured drawcord and a front kangaroo pocket.
• Low shrinkage, under 5%. The size you buy is the size you keep.
• Engraved faux leather patch. The Nail Cross is engraved, not printed, so there is no ink to crack or fade.

The textured knit means slight variation in shade and texture from one piece to the next. That is the character of the fabric, not a flaw.

Unisex, regular fit, true to size. Order your usual size, or size up for a looser fit.

Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron the patch.
